FLORIDA HOME HEALTH AGENCIES:
CS/HB 7083 has passed and is effective as of July 1, 2008. There are many new reporting requirements, accreditation requirements, etc. which can result in heavy fines or losing of your license. There are many changes which can affect your business and the best advice that either I or anyone else can possible give you is to become as familiar with the law as you possibly can. Another piece of advice, if your Home Health Agency is not accredited, I would get it accredited as soon as possible.
